Sifu/Guro Alan Baker

Sifu Alan Baker is an internationally recognized martial arts & self-defense expert. He has been training continually in the Martial Arts since 1981 and teaching since 1990. He has 40 years of continuous experience in the arts. In 1999 he was inducted into the WHFSC International Martial Arts Hall of Fame. In August of 2007, Mr. Baker was awarded the rank of 7th Degree Black Belt by the International Martial Arts Headfounders Grandmasters Council. He has also been recognized for developing the Warriors Path Physical Fitness Program and is the founder of the Civilian Tactical Training Association, he has appeared in several national magazine articles.

Iris Rousseau

Sije Iris is AMAC’s Program Director and Office Manager. She runs all the daily operations here at the school where she has been training since 2005. She also is an instructor in our Kids Gracie Jiu Jitsu program, our Youth Gracie Jiu jitsu program, Fitness Kickboxing program and she heads the women’s Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program.

Dennis Rousseau

Sihing Dennis began training in martial arts in 1981. In 1985 he attained the rank of First Dan Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do in the Allen Steen lineage, and is recognized in the American Karate Black Belt Association (A.K.B.B.A). He has been training in various martial arts styles since and holds a black belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu (Pedro Sauer Jiu Jitsu Association), and Orange Grade-Defence Labs (Defence Lab Association). Dennis also holds a Combat Submission Wrestling rank of Student Level 4. A former Army infantryman where he learned hand-to-hand combat, squad tactics, close quarter battle training, and multiple weapon platforms. He has deployed to Iraq and is an Operation Desert Storm Veteran. Currently, he is a Law Enforcement Firearms and Defensive Tactics instructor.

Phillip Carlock

Phillip has been training at AMAC since 2018 and has participated in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Combat Submission Wrestling, Warriors Legacy, and Filipino Martial Arts. He has over 18 years of military experience, is a Certified Modern Army Combatives Instructor, and is currently progressing through the Keysi Fighting Method Instructor Course. Phillip has had multiple combat deployments to Iraq & Afghanistan along with various instructor positions within the Army. He has a Master’s Degree in Human Behavior Studies and Leadership from Liberty University. Phillip’s received multiple Group 1 and Group 4 Army Skills Badges, and has operated with Active, Reserve, National Guard, DOD Contractor, and Special Operations Military Units.

David Mitchell

Sihing David has been training at AMAC since 2006 and has been an AMAC Instructor Training Candidate (ITC) since 2010. During this time, he has focused his training at AMAC in studying self-defense and combat applications. David also trains in BJJ, Defense Lab, Pekiti Tirsia, and Silat. All of his experience he brings to the classroom to create a dynamic training environment.

Dave Grgetic

Coach Dave has practiced martial arts since 1978. He has attained ranks of 3rd degree black belt in Shotokan karate, red belt/brown belt in Jeet Kun Do, brown belt in Fillipino Kali and Black Belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu. He also hold ranks in Combat Submission Wrestling, Wing Chun, Aikido and Taihojitsu. Dave is a retired Marketing Communications executive, is married, has 2 adult children, and holds a B.A. from Ohio University and M.A. from the University of Florida

Kyung (John) Sul

Sihing John started training martial arts in 2000, age 16 under Steve Grantham. Achieved the rank of black belts in the art of JKD and Filipino Kali at age 20. Senior Associate Instructor under Guro Dan Inosanto in the arts of Filipino Kali, JKD, and Indonesian Silat. Instructor under Guro Dan since age 22 (2006). Wing Chun Black Belt and Instructor under Sifu Francis Fong since 2017. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under Professor Pedro Sauer and Alan Baker in 09/2017. Outside of martial arts. ICU RN. BSN RN, 2014. BA Finance 2008.

Chris Benfield

Sihing Chris has been training at AMAC since 2003 and teaching Jiu Jitsu since 2005. Rank Black Belt in Gracie Jiu Jitsu Brown Belt in Jeet Kune Do Student Level 2 in Combat Submission Wrestling.
