Developing Good Tactical Habits

Security professionals and law enforcement officers develop daily habits that are based on good tactical principles they learn as they enter and advance in their vocations. I have been very fortunate to teach and have the opportunity to train with many of them due to the tactical training business I run here in Atlanta GA. From this opportunity I took the information and skills I have learned and developed a civilian education program to meet the demand for more Intelligent tactical training for the public. This program became known at the school as “C-Tac” or the Civilian Tactical Training Program. This is some of the information from that program.

Civilian Tactical Certification Course in Woodstock Georgia

This week we ran a private Instructor Certification course for the Civilian Tactical Program. The private session was set up for some individuals that could not make it to the main course over the upcoming weekend. The event went very well and the CTTA Association now has three new Instructors. Nw we are gearing up for the main event coming up this weekend. We have instructors from around the US coming in to go through the program.

Bodyguard defensive tactics training program

Coming up in 2015 is to open enrollment events for the Protection Response Tactics program that we teach through AMAC tactical training group. We will be teaching this program as we normally do connected to the Executive Protection Institutes seven day course for executive protection or what is commonly called in the industry bodyguard training. The PRT was specifically designed for the security specialist. EPI approached me over five years ago to create this program for its graduates so that they would have an appropriate answer for a defensive tactic scenario that may come up. Protection Response Tactics is designed around a force continuum that allows the protection agent to use the appropriate level of force depending on the level of force that is coming from the threat.
